Archeologie médií nebo Mediální archeologie

Media archaeology is not a school of thought or a specific technique, but an emerging attitude and cluster of tactics in contemporary media theory, characterized by a desire to uncover and circulate repressed or neglected media approaches and technologies. Dead Media, lost traces of technologies are important topics to be excavated and studied.

There is a "German school", related to history of informatics, philosophy or social sciences, and English - American and Scandinavian theorists and historians focusing more on environmental issues of history of technology.
